Beth Temple, Associate & Design Director at Baskervill
- As an associate and design director for Baskervill’s hospitality division, Elizabeth Temple understands the importance of communication when talking with clients about a project. Her ability to think big and meet clients’ operational goals means clients return to Beth time and again for her keen eye and fresh approach to challenges. Her thoughtful and intuitive design methodology means clients rely on Beth not only for her extensive expertise but for her inspired and intelligent choices. Her work has won a number of awards, including a Gold Key Award of Hospitality Design Finalist honor for Best Hotel Design for the Wyndham Grand Orlando Resort at Bonnet Creek.
Arielle Cummins, Senior Associate & Interior Designer at Odell
Arielle Cummins has over thirteen years of professional interior design experience, including projects in almost every market sector. She currently leads the interior design practice at ODELL where she combines creative and technical expertise to bring a holistic approach to her work. Arielle views each project as a work of art, crafted to tell a story and create a memorable experience. She is known for her ability to ask the right questions, listen with sensitivity, and respond with unique solutions. Her clients praise her relentless commitment to quality work and innovative designs. As a proactive project manager and creative problem solver, Arielle is instrumental in bringing design projects to life.
Eric Sweet, Senior Interior Designer at Gresham Smith’s Aviation Studio
- A Senior Interior Designer in Gresham Smith’s Aviation studio, Eric Sweet has over 20 years of experience creating airports that take the passenger experience to new heights. With an understanding that airports are more than just buildings – they’re economic engines that drive communities—he designs thoughtful solutions that are tailored to each airport’s unique vision. After graduating from Virginia Tech and working small firms, Eric joined Gresham Smith in 2001 and has since worked on projects at Richmond International, Norfolk International, Atlanta Hartsfield-Jackson International, Charlotte Douglas International, and Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International.
Nicole Rutledge, Commercial & Residential Interior Designer & Owner of Nicole Rutledge Design
- Nicole Rutledge is a Certified Interior Designer with over ten years of commercial and residential design experience. Nicole received her BFA in Interior Design from Virginia Commonwealth University. She started her own design firm, Nicole Rutledge Design, in 2017 and teaches part time at the Visual Arts Center.
Nicole has been involved with ASID since her time as treasurer at VCU. She has been involved with the ASID VA Chapter as the Capitol Region Chair, the Communications Director and has participated in various committees. In her spare time she tackles projects on her 1926 bungalow, snuggles her furry creatures, and enjoys volunteering. Nicole cherishes minimalism and focusing on spending time with what and who matter most!”
Jessica Zullo, Associate Principal & Director of Hickok Cole’s Richmond Studio
- Jessica Zullo serves as the Director of the Richmond Studio, representing the firm’s context-driven approach to design across our five market sectors. Jessica holds a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Interior Design from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University. She has worked on a wide range of projects including large scale headquarters, associations, corporate interiors, restaurants, retail, and building repositioning projects in collaboration with the commercial office studio.
Originally from Richmond, Jessica initially came to Washington DC to immerse herself in fast-paced design culture and diversify her portfolio. She is thrilled to be a part of Richmond’s creative, dynamic community.
Jessica is a member of IIDA, AIA, Greater Richmond Association of Commercial Real Estate (GRACRE), and ULI Virginia; internally, she is a member of Hickok Cole’s Full Circle Committee, Staff Operations Committee, and the Design Committee. In her free time at home she enjoys attending college football games, fishing, photography, and eating as many oysters as possible.
